Apparently Ms. Young didn't get my message

Back on June 5 I reposted something I had sent to the NashvillePTOTalk list last summer this time relating the plight of non-English speaking parents and the school supply lists, specifically one written by a Ms. Young. I'm sad to report the kiosk of lists at my local Wal-Mart contained lists that haven't improved at all. In fact most of the copies were so poor that they were difficult to even read, let alone understand if you don't know what a 'cigar box style pencil box' is.

I had sent copies of that essay to both Metro Nashville Public Schools Director Pedro Garcia and their spokesman, Woody McMillan. I never heard back from either of them. Maybe they sent it to the 'customer service center' to handle.
