Blago-Bredesen connection

In closing arguments before being impeached former Illinois Governor Rod Blagoevich throws everything in the mix in a desperate effort to see what might sway his legislature and keep him in office. Gov. Phil Bredesen get's a mention. The context is Blagoevich's effort to find and provide flu vaccines during 2005:

Not only did we successfully get the flu vaccines we sought, but there was a desire and a demand from other states for those flu vaccines. And Governor Bill Richardson from New Mexico called, and we were able to get him some. And my recollection, my recollection is the governor of Tennessee was interested, Governor Bredesen, to see whether or not we could share some of those flu vaccines with him. Via Chicago Sun-Times
