The Alignment Nashville Newsletter reports that Diane Long, formerly of the MNPS information office and before that education reporter for the Tennessean has moved on again.
The Nashville Alliance for Public Education, Alignment Nashville and the PENCIL Foundation have hired Diane Long to serve as a shared grant writer for all three non-profit organizations. “Diane has worked with Nashville’s public schools for the last 30 years,” Garrett said. “Her depth of knowledge and her research skills will be invaluable to us.”I wish her success at her job. She was always gracious and very helpful when I called on her.
