Inagural Inglewood 8K

The inaugural Inglewood 8K went very well. The weather could have been a bit less humid but otherwise it was perfect. Over and over runners and walkers commented on how challenging the course was (like that was a good thing) as well as how beautiful the neighborhood is.

Bill Crutchfield was the overall winner with a time of 32:10.

There were a bunch of girls from a running team called the Continental T-Belle Track Club. They were quite impressive for being so young and gave it all they had, especially when they could see that finish line.

Runners from 10 to 78 years participated.

There were lots of folks who enjoyed the morning stroll.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Isaac Litton Middle School Band (some of us are determined that the Marching 100 will be back).

Thanks to all the sponsors, whether they were local businesses or neighbors.

Further information can be found at Inglewood8K.com and Nashville Striders has the results.
